Sheffield dancers shaking it for charity

Ladies are limbering up to shake and shimmy during a fundraising danceathon.

Sheffield belly dance group Belrobics is hosting a two-hour class to raise cash for Vida and Haven House, local charities which support victims of domestic abuse in South Yorkshire.

The event, dubbed the Belrobathon, is at The Dam House, Mushroom Lane, Crookes on Saturday June 1 from 3pm and newcomers are welcome to join in to help raise cash for good causes.

Teacher Jenny Muhlwa said: “Choreography in the Belrobics programme challenges and stimulates the mind whilst exercising the body, but it’s easy to follow. This makes it accessible for dancers and non-dancers.”

An Arabian themed evening will follow the session.
