Sheffield cyclists return from European adventure

Have your say

A team of saddle-sore Sheffield cyclists who rode to Amsterdam and back to the city hope to have raised thousands of pounds for charity.

Andy Moores, Gus Thompson, Owen Thomas and Andy Caine, who work for broadband, home phone and television provider, Plusnet, in Sheffield, cycled 525 miles over six days to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

They returned yesterday.

Last year a team of four other Plusnet workers raised £5,ooo for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal by cycling to Paris.
