Sheffield cop interrupted during house search by loveable dog – and it’s adorable

A Sheffield police officer was given a 'helping hand’ during a house enquiry by an attentive dog.

Sheffield South East NHP shared the adorable footage of PC Sibley being closely followed by the excitable dog whilst going about his business. 

In the footage, the adorable dog trots along with the officer every step of the way across the garden to the shed.

PC Sibley tries to gesture him away but the pup isn’t having any of itmand continues to jump up at the officer. 

In the end, PC Sibley admits defeat retreats back to the house, alongside his trusty new sidekick. 

The hilarious footage has been viewed thousands of times on Facebook and it’s enough to put a smile of anyone’s face.

“Whilst conducting enquires at an address, Officers had a helping hand from this little fella. He clearly took a liking to PC Sibley, who after this incident decided that the role of a dog handler was out of the question.”
