Sheffield comedy troupe's bid for TV stardom after fundraising boost
Seldom Differ has raised more than £14, 000 through an online kickstarter campaign and they plan to use the money to shoot a 25-minute pilot show.
Having reached their initial goal the group has now extended it and hope to reach the £16, 000 mark before approaching major TV networks with a view to getting their work commissioned.

“Now that we’ve achieved the bare minimum of what we need – we’re extending our goal.
“The extra money will allow us to rent even better quality kit - lenses and grip equipment in particular – giving us a better chance of producing a glossy, cinematic show.
“It will also give us the luxury of more time on set to improvise around the script which is often where the funniest moments are created.”

It will be set on an imaginary island off the coast of the UK which has been privately governed for decades and has its own set of unique and peculiar laws. But things are about to change as ideas from the modern world begins to seep into the insulated society.
