Sheffield Christmas Markets 2019: The weird and wonderful gifts on sale this year
Sheffield Christmas Markets made its welcome return to Fargate yesterday and the festivities are already in full swing.
There will be more than 50 cabins in the market selling a whole host of festive treats this year so it’s easy to get your Christmas shopping sorted early.
We’ve picked out some of the weird and wonderful gifts you can pick up that will keep all your friends and family happy over the holidays.
The Sheffield Candle Company are on the market for their fifth consecutive year so if you have a candle lover on your Christmas list this is the stall for you.
All the candles are hand poured in Sheffield using Soy wax; a more environmentally conscious option than mainstream paraffin waxes.
The range also includes sprays, wax melts and burners to create the perfect scented gift set.
If you’re looking for the perfect Sheffield inspired gift look no further than the Tipsy Towers stall.
Shoppers can find Sheffield United memorabilia, Henderson’s Relish and tea towels featuring music legends like Alex Turner and Jarvis Cocker.
Stall worker Jake said: “No other stall is as uniquely Sheffield themed which gives us an edge.”
If you have no idea for a stocking filler for your children or a friend who thinks out of the box then Helen Gilbert’s Handmade Jewellery and Gifts has a range of earrings and bracelets with bright and colourful animals on them.
The most wacky thing for sale however is your very own Pet Pea made from fimo clay.
From grump-pea to pea-kachoo, these little jars of fun will be the best £1.50 you spend this Christmas.
