Sheffield charity to host open day to show off new premises

Sheffield charity Amy’s House is gearing up to move into new premises and will be showing off its new facilities at an open day later this summer.

The charity provides Saturday and holiday sessions for children aged between five and 16 with special needs.

Its new base on Handsworth Road, Handsworth, will also incorporate Molly’s Mates, which will cater for people up to the age of 25 with special needs.

The new building boast a state-of-the-art sensory room, which will be unveiled to the public at the open day on August 2.

Amy’s House was set up in 2003.
