A Sheffield community charity has been awarded £500 to stage a cooking course for residents.
Park Community Action was given the donation by utilities provider Unicom.
The charity provides support for members of the community by putting on activities including health and fitness sessions, computer skills and life skills, such as cookery classes.
The cash will be spent on a Cooking on a Budget course, which is designed to teach residents how to make affordable and nutritious meals.
Marie O’Grady, who applied for the funding on behalf of Park Community Action, said: “The cookery course was such a huge success last time we really wanted to do it again, giving others the opportunity to come and learn new skills.”
