IT WILL be short back and sides all round at a Sheffield care home this Saturday when staff take to the barber’s chair in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The staff being shorn are Kirsty Scott, Tanya Young and Diane Scully who work at Anchor’s Eagle House in Stalker Lees Road who have agreed to the haircuts to support the charity.
Care worker Kirsty is keen to support the charity as her mother is winning her battle against cancer.
Self-employed hairdresser Leanne Ward is doing the honours at Eagle House as a way of also showing her support for Cancer Research UK.
Eagle House business manager, Joanne Thornhill, said: “The residents and staff like to organise fundraising events as it’s a way to help the community we live and work in. I think this is a fantastic initiative.”
