Cool pooch Kevin is hoping a new loving owner will bring some warmth to the chilly winter days in Sheffield.
The four-year-old Staffordshire terrier-crossbreed is currently being cared for at the RSPCA Sheffield branch, but is hoping to start afresh in a home he can call his own.
Tammy Wilson, branch acting animal care manager, believes Kevin would be a good choice for first-time dog owners, or people who would like a dog that already knows a lot of commands.
She said: “Kevin was brought to us due to welfare concerns, but this loving chap is now ready for a new, forever home. He is an affectionate boy, who loves cuddles and attention.
“He also has a relaxed, friendly nature and seems to get on with other dogs he has met at our centre, so a home with a canine companion is a possibility pending on a meet and greet.”
“Because of his lovely nature, we would consider a home with children who are over the age of eight if they can be sensible around him and if they can contribute calmly to the continued training and care all dogs require.”
RSPCA staff looking after Kevin say he will need plenty of exercise and stimulated play time to keep him active, happy and healthy.
