An application to change the opening times of a Sheffield cafe has been given the go-ahead by Sheffield City Council's planning committee.

Owners of the Reserved Café, in Stannington Park, which currently opens from 7am to 6pm Monday to Sunday, applied to extend opening times to to 11pm on two days each month to allow for private functions.

A total of 25 objections had been made to the proposal from residents and groups, raising concerns over late-night noise.

The application will received conditional consent when Sheffield City Council's planning and highways committee meet on Monday, May 1.
