Sheffield building fire sends smoke billowing across M1 motorway
Drivers are being warned to take care after smoke from an ablaze Sheffield building sent smoke billowing across the M1 motorway.
The incident is currently underway at a metal recycling plant adjacent to the carriageway between junctions 34 (Meadowhall) and 35 (Thorpe Hesley).
Smoke is currently drifting over both carriageways reducing visibility and signs warning driver to reduce speed are illuminated.
