A Sheffield race night raised £900 for charity Neurocare.

The night, at Crookes Social Club, was backed by many former neurology patients, including Julie Buttery, who beat a brain tumour and went on to run her own catering firm.

Julie, who provided a buffet for the night, said: “Neurocare is a worthy cause. I wanted to help the charity that helped me.”

Neurocare raises money for the neuro wards at Sheffield’s hospitals.
