Sheffield boxing: Kell shrugs off rival's threat
Kell Brook isn't rushing to research the style of the opponent who says he is coming to England to take his world title.
Whatever Kevin Bizier brings, it isn’t going to compare with the power, accuracy and speed at the Sheffield fighter’s disposal, the world champion believes.
Brook occasionally glances an eye, at most, at the background of his opponents - all 35 of which have fallen by the wayside since he turned professional 12 years
ago. And the Canadian’s credentials aren’t going to worry him as he prepares for the March 26 clash at Sheffield Arena.
“I haven’t seen any video of him, I am not bothered normally, I might just have a peek” he says. “I don’t know anything about his previous opponents, I am just concentrating on myself. Whatever he or anybody else has done in the past isn’t important.
“I just have to get myself right - and I have and am in tip-top shape - and it doesn’t matter about anybody else.
“Nobody can live with me, he certainly won’t.”
