Sheffield boxer-Dad to raise cash for Children's Hospital after daughter's treatment for cancer

Boxer James Squires is to raise money at his next fight for a hospital ward where his young daughter has been receiving treatment.

Three-year-old Chloe is now in remission after her spell at Sheffield Children’s Hospital M3 cancer ward. James ‘The Daddy’ Squires tops the event against John Ibbotson at Crookes Social Club, Mulehouse Road, Sheffield 11 on Sunday, March 6 (doors noon, weigh-in and face-offs at 1pm and first bout 2pm). The bill will also feature boxers from Manor-based De Hood boxing club, based at the Old Prince Edward’s School, City Road. Some of the fighters will make their debuts on the 10-fight programme.
