A story of marital infidelity, mental illness and divorce in post-war Sheffield which sold well in Canada is finally being sold in the steel city.
Roger Gordon’s memoir ‘Starting To Frame’ tells his story of growing up in Sheffield in the 1950s and 1960s.
Hundreds of copies have been sold in Canada, where Gordon now lives, but it has gone on sale in Sheffield.
Roger emigrated to Canada in 1969 and became a university professor.
Now retired, he lives in Prince Edward Island and unveiled his book to critical acclaim last year, receiving 4/5 and 5/5 star ratings.
Copies are available at The Star, York Street; Waterstones in Orchard Square, Sheffield Scene, Amazon and via www.acmretro.com.
Some cash will go to charity.
