Sheffield 10k: All the roads that will be closed on 23 September

The Sheffield 10k will take place on Sunday 23 September and roads across the city will be closed for the new route.

Other changes such as parking restrictions and one way systems will also be in place for the third edition of the annual event.

The following roads will be closed from 4am to 4pm on 23 September:

Arundel Gate '“ closed between High Street and Furnival Square.

Norfolk Street '“ closed between Arundel Gate and Union Street. There will be no parking allowed in all bays of Norfolk Street from 05:00 to 14:00.

Surrey Street '“ whole street will be closed. There will be no parking allowed in all bays of Surrey Street from 05:00 to 14:00.

The following roads will be closed from 8:30am on 23 September:

A61 Ring Road (anticlockwise) '“ Closed between Brook Hill and Eyre Street from 08:30 to 11:45.

A61 Ring Road (clockwise) '“ Closed between London Road and Broomspring Lane from 08:30 to 16:00.

Brocco Bank '“ Closed between Westbourne Road and Ecclesall Road from 08:30 to 11:35.

Charter Row '“ Closed between Furnival Gate and Moore Street from 08:30 to 12:15.

Charles Street '“ The whole of Charles Street will be closed from 08:30 to 16:00. There will be no parking allowed in all bays of Charles Street from 05:00 to 14:00.

Ecclesall Road '“ Closed between Hannover Way / St Mary's Gate to Hunter's Bar Roundabout from 08:30 and 11:30. Westbound access road will be in operation from Sharrow Vale Road along Ecclesall Road. No waiting or parking along Ecclesall Road from  from 05:00 to 14:00.

Ecclesall Road (eastbound) '“ Closed eastbound between Psalter Lane and Brocco Bank from 08:30 and 11:30. No waiting or parking along Ecclesall Road from  from 05:00 to 14:00.

Endcliffe Vale Road '“ Closed between Endcliffe Hall Avenue and Brocco Bank from 08:30 to 11:15.

Furnival Gate (westbound) '“ Closed westbound between Arundel Gate and Charter Row from 08:30 to 11:40.

Furnival Gate (eastbound) '“ Closed eastbound between Pinstone Street and Furnival Square from 08:30 to 12:15.

Graham Road '“ Closed between Hangingwater Road and Riverdale Gate from 08:30 to 11:15. There will be no waiting cones in place from Riverdale Mews for approx 75m on Graham Road from 05:00 to 14:00.

Hangingwater Road '“ Closed southbound between Oakbook Road and Graham Road from 08:30 to 11:10. Access northbound will be allowed with the supervision of route marshals or a member of security through the northbound junction.

Moore Street '“ Closed between Charter Row and Hanover Way / St Mary's Gate from 08:30 to 11:45.

Oakbrook Road '“ Closed between Hangingwater Road and Riverdale Road from 08:30 to 12:15. There will be no waiting cones in place on the whole of Oakbrook Road from 05:00 to 14:00.

Pinstone Street '“ Closed Southbound between Surrey Street and Furnival Gate from 08:30 to 12:15. There will be no parking allowed in all bays of Pinstone Street from 05:00 to 14:00.

Riverdale Road '“ Closed between Graham Road and Endcliffe Vale Road from 08:30 to 11:20.

Rustlings Road '“ Closed Eastbound between Oakbrook Road to Ecclesall Road from 08:30 to 11:00. Westbound access will be maintained. There will be no waiting cones in place on the whole of Rustlings Road from 05:00 to 14:00.

Union Street '“ The whole of Union Street will be closed from 08:30. There will be no parking allowed in all bays of Union Street from 05:00 to 14:00.

Other restrictions:

Cambridge Street '“ The one way restriction in place on Cambridge Street will be suspended from 05:00 to 14:00.

Cross Burgess Street '“ The one way restriction in place on Cross Burgess Street will be suspended from 05:00 to 14:00.

Burgess Street '“ There will be tow restrictions in place between Barker's Pool and Cross Burgess Street from 05:00 to 14:00.
