An article claiming to have found the 'worst road in Sheffield' generated wide reaction from the city's residents yesterday.

Speaking on Tuesday, residents of Deerlands Avenue in Parsons Cross said their street was the most badly surfaced in Sheffield and said they felt like the city's 'forgotten' relations.

Reaction to the story from readers of The Star included comments such as 'Hartley Brook Road is much worse', 'Bellhouse Road is just as bad', 'Wadsley Lane is very poor', and 'the roads in Crookes and Walkley are a complete joke'.
