Security event for Sheffield cyclists

POLICE will be visiting a Sheffield cycle shop to offer a free security marking service.

Officers will be at Over-Ride Cycleworks in Shalesmoor on Saturday, March 16, between 10.30am and 4pm.

Jacquie Rescorle, from the shop, said: “This opportunity is open to anyone, they just need to bring along their bike. The frame will be wiped and the owner will be asked to mark it with a UV marker with their house number and postcode.

“The police will then seal this with a security skin. It’s quick, easy and free.”
