Second man ordered to court after Brimington Road crash

A second man has been summoned to court after a crash in Chesterfield.

The 35-year-old, of Old Tupton, has been reported on summons for driving without due care and attention following the collision on Brimington Road on Thursday, March 3.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said: "As he's been summonsed by the court, we can't name him at this stage."

As reported earlier, Simon Burrell, 37, of Gloucester Road, Chesterfield, has also been charged in relation to the incident.

He is accused of driving without due care and attention and two counts of using a vehicle with insufficient tread

The collision involved two cars and a bus and resulted in a number of injuries.

Both men are expected to appear before magistrates in Chesterfield on Friday, May 27.
