An extensive search and rescue operation was mounted to find a man who disappeared after going swimming in a South Yorkshire reservoir.
The 38-year-old from Fartown, Huddersfield, was camping at Snailsden reservoir, near Dunford Bridge - which broders South and West Yorkshire - on Saturday night when he went swimming and failed to return.
A police helicopter, underwater search teams and police dogs were all used in the joint operation between South Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Police and South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The search was ongoing last night as The Star went to press.
Call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 1192 of May 31 with information.
