Scrap set ablaze by arsonists

A BUS reclamation company in Barnsley had five tonnes of scrap go up in flames in an arson attack. The blaze on Boulder Bridge Lane, Carlton, was reported at 9.30pm on Friday.

Firefighters spent two hours cooling gas cylinders involved in a blaze in an allotment building in Sheffield. The cause of the fire at 1.30pm on Saturday is not known.

A disused stable was damaged in an arson attack on Hollin Busk Lane, Stocksbridge. The fire at 5.30pm on Sunday was started deliberately.

And fire crews were called out to a chip pan fire in a flat in School Lane Close, Norton, Sheffield. When they arrived at 5.20pm on Friday the flames were already out.
