Schools concerthits the right note
Two thousand school children from 35 schools in Sheffield will watch the Hallé Orchestra perform at the City Hall tomorrow (Friday).
The orchestra will be performing pieces the children have been learning in class as part of the BBC’s Ten Pieces Project, which aims to open up classical music to children.
They will also be playing a piece by local composer, Finlay Teather, who is studying music at Sheffield College.
