School leavers attend college open day

School leavers and their parents attended an open day at The Sheffield College to find out more about full-time courses starting next year.

Visitors met with staff, toured the facilities and learned more about the courses and work experience opportunities at the college’s city, Hillsborough, Peaks and Olive Grove campuses.

Principal Heather Smith said: “Coming to college is an exciting and life-changing experience. Our students achieve more than qualifications. They also develop valuable work and life skills that help them go on to the next level course at college or university, apprenticeships or employment.”
