Ginger would add a 'new dimension' to the vibrant food and drink scene in Broomhill, according to the team behind the project.

They have applied to open on Glossop Road, on the corner of Peel Street, where they hope to sell produce sourced from Sheffield wherever possible, showcasing local and independent producers.

The Scandi-themed deli would open until around 6pm during the week and 10pm at weekends, it is proposed, and there would be searing for up to 24 customers.
