Scale new heights and try circus skills

Get ready to hit the heights at Crystal Peaks this Bank Holiday and head for the top of a special eight metre-high climbing wall.

The climbing wall will feature 15 set routes and is suitable for both novice and experienced climbers, with qualified instructors on hand at all times.

For those who fancy keeping both feet planted firmly on the ground, there is also the chance to brush up on some circus skills - trying your hand at juggling balls and clubs, handling the diablo and devil sticks, mastering the Olympic ribbon, walking on fun stilts, spinning plates and learning how to hula hoop or lasso a rope.

Crystal Peaks centre manager Lee Greenwood said: “All safety equipment for the climbing wall is provided, making it the perfect spectacle for mums and dads to watch their children head upwards and take photos at a safe distance, between 10am and 4pm on Monday.

“Also at 10am, Circus Whiz will be setting up their inflatable circus ring with enough equipment for 50 participants to participate in a dozen different circus skills.”

All events are free,
