Salvation for Sheffield singles and groups this Valentine's Day at pop-up cinema

It can be difficult being alone on Valentine's Day but The Village Screen has Sheffield singles covered this year with its '˜Alternative Valentine's Weekend'.

The pop-up cinema will take over 92 Burton Road, near Kelham Island, on February 13 and 14, and organisers promise the ‘love will be free flowing,’ with singles and groups welcome.

Inside the former warehouse there will be a fully-stocked bar and street food.

Kicking off on Saturday at 6pm, audiences will watch classic rom-com ‘Pretty Woman’, with Wes Anderson’s ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ on Sunday.
