Sad farewell at Doncaster school

Pupils and staff at an Edlington school gave their long-serving Senior Midday Supervisor a big sad send-off, while wishing her luck for the future.

Ruth Lee has worked at Edlington Victoria Primary School for 31 years but is now looking forward to spending time with her family and young grandchildren, and walking her dog, Bobby.

School business manager Lyndsey Dyer said: “Staff, Parents and Pupils will miss her dearly. We all wish Mrs Lee a happy retirement.”
