Russums give kids' Trust their backing

Russums of Rotherham has chosen Sheffield Children's Food Trust as its charity of the year.

The family-run catering, clothing and equipment has teamed up with the Trust to select a special range of cookery equipment and clothing in its online shop. For all sales from this collection, Russums will make a donation to the Trust’s running and operation costs, as well as the training programmes it delivers. From children’s aprons to cooking club equipment starter kits, the collection focuses on items that will help get children cooking, whether at home, in school or in a cooking club.

John-Paul Marsden, sale and marketing manager, said: “Russums specialise in supplying schools, colleges and training establishments throughout the UK with fit for purpose, food preparation products. Through working with the Children’s Food Trust, we have identified practical, value for money clothing and equipment specifically for children, teachers and cookery clubs. In addition to providing an important source of equipment that clubs need, we will be making a donation to help towards the excellent work the charity does, promoting children’s healthy eating.”
