• JURGEN Klinsmann will take charge of Chelsea in the summer, according to one football rumours website. The same posting also says that only Carvalho and Drogba will move away from the club in the summer - Drogba to Milan and Carvalho to Madrid.

• A FOOTBALL rumours website claims that Liverpool will make a bid for Phillip Lahm in January as he can play either in the left or right side. The same posting claims that they will sell Crouch and may bid for Defoe.

• CELTIC will sign Shaun Maloney from Aston Villa for a price around 2 million.

• THE Sun says that Ronaldinho could join Chelsea for just 14 million next summer.

• ROMAN Abramovich has put Guus Hiddink on the spot and asked him whether he wants to stay with Russia or join Chelsea, says The Daily Express.

• THE Guardian reports that Newcastle's manager Sam Allardyce yesterday warned Steve McClaren that Michael Owen will not be fit for next month's Euro 2008 qualifiers against Estonia and Russia.

• EVERTON manager David Moyes has been told he must pay 2 million to land Swindon keeper Peter Brezovan, reports The Mirror.

• WEST HAM are interested in Brazilian teenager Kerlon Moura Souza.

• THE Sun says that England star Emile Heskey is hitting his targets on the road back from a broken metatarsal. The 29-year-old has started gym work and will start swimming next week, apparently.
