RSPCA seeks new homes for pets in Sheffield

A friendly dog who loves company is looking for a forever home.

Raff, a three-year-old crossbreed who has been in RSPCA’s kennels for a year, is an active dog who would benefit from a home where he can get lots of exercise.

An RSPCA spokesman said: “He can sometimes be a little shy but once he gets to know you he is exceptionally friendly and quite giddy.

“He has been quite good with other canines here at the centre so could possibly be suitable to live with another dog.

“Due to his giddy nature Raff would like a home with children no younger than eight.

“This lovely lad adores people, and therefore would like a home where he is rarely left as he can become quite distressed when alone. Please could you consider this handsome boy and offer him a place in your family?”

The RSPCA is also seeking a home for a 10-year-old cat, named Tango.

Tango was brought to the RSPCA’s animal centre in Attercliffe with another cat because of welfare concerns.

The other cat has been re-homed.

Staff describe him as ‘very friendly, loving and loyal feline who doesn`t ask for much in life’.

A spokesmam said: “Tango shouldn`t be spending his twilight years here with us and would love a new home soon so that he can spend his days snoozing in warm cosy beds, getting

lots of TLC.”
