The Royal Family seeks £50,000 social media manager fit for a Queen

That’s why the Royal Family is now looking for a social media manager to serve subjects of Her Majesty a social media experience fit for a Queen.

The role of Head of Digitial Engagement, which is being advertised on the official website of the British Monarchy, will be based in Buckingham Palace and pay up to £50,000.

The Royal Twitter and Facebook accounts are already well followed.

The British Monarchy Twitter account has over 2 million followers, Kensington Palace has 628,000 on Twitter, and Clarence House has more than 500,000 on Twitter.

The aim of the job is apparently to “engage a worldwide audience with the public role and work of The Royal Family”.

The advert states that the Royal social media accounts are already viewed by millions, adding: “It’s about never standing still and finding new ways to maintain The Queen’s presence in the public eye and on the world stage.”
