New boss Neil Warnock has brought in two players already familiar to him - goalkeeper Paddy Kenny and defender Lloyd Doyley.

Both will be with the Millers until the end of the season as Warnock bids to keep the third-bottom club in the second tier.

Kenny, aged 37, has played under Warnock at the Blades, QPR and Leeds United, while Doyley, 33, who made more than 400 appearances for Watford, was with him at QPR earlier this season.

They are the second and third Millers deals of the week after the arrival of winger Jerome Thomas.

“Lloyd is a player who knows the league well and he comes in to help us at a difficult time with a lot of games coming up,” Warnock said.

“If you ask anybody about Lloyd, they will tell you that he is a really good pro. You can put him anywhere across the back and he will give 100%."
