Rotherham United have confirmed that survival saviour Neil Warnock will be leaving the club.

The club issued a statement wishing “health and happiness” to the manager who masterminded their march from the drop zone to Championship safety after arriving on a short-term deal in February.

Assistant boss Kevin Blackwell and coach Ronnie Jepson are also departing.

Warnock’s 16 games in charge make him the shortest-serving boss in the Millers history.

“We would like to place on record our thanks to Neil and his support staff and wish Neil, Kevin and Ronnie health and happiness for the future,” said the club.

Blackburn Rovers are thought to be interested in securing Warnock’s services.
