Steve Evans has confirmed he will remain as Rotherham United manager.

The Millers boss has been linked with the vacant hot-seat at Peterborough United.

But he said after the 2-1 Championship defeat at Brighton: "My job at Rotherham United is far from finished.

"As long as (chairman) Tony Stewart tells me I'm the manager of this football club, I'll be the manager of this football club."

Evans is now focusing on Saturday's home clash with Cardiff City when his side will be looking for their first league win after seven matches.

The bookmakers had made him favourite for the Posh role, but Evans says he doesn't think the club have made an approach to Stewart for him.
