ROTHERHAM (4-4-2)

MAREK RODAK 6

Did well to deny Duane Holmes in the second half. Good distribution.

JOSH EMMANUEL 8

Solid defensively and an irresistible force going forward. Brilliant run for the opening goal.

MICHAEL IHIEKWE 5

His first poor game since returning to the side. Horrible own goal and shaky from then on.

RICHARD WOOD 7

Just what Rotherham needed from their skipper. Took no prisoners, no risks and held things together.

JOE MATTOCK 6

Steady display, although he was undone by Hakeeb Adelakun in the build-up to the first equaliser. Won a couple of important headers.

WILL VAULKS 6

Not spectacular, but always battling, always competing.

JON TAYLOR 7

Decent show. Usual non-stop running, improved delivery and capped his day with a goal.

RICHIE TOWELL 7

Superb lofted pass to set up Jon Taylor’s goal. Always looking to be involved.

MATT PALMER 7

Excellent in the first half with his vision and willingness to have the ball. Less effective after the break.

RYAN WILLIAMS 8

Troubled the Iron constantly with his energy and lively running with the ball.

MICHAEL SMITH 8

Had the beating of the Scunthorpe defence in the air and on the ground. Good hold-up and link-up play.
