Rotherham residents set to take a step back in time

Catcliffe residents can take a step back in time at a local history event in the Rotherham village.

The event on Saturday, June 4 has been organised by Brinsworth and Catcliffe Local History Group, Rotherham Heritage Services and Friends of Catcliffe.

A free exhibition of life in Catcliffe will take residents back in time.

The glass kiln in the village will also be opened up and there will be talks given about the kiln at 10.30am and 11.30am.

Organisers are keen to hear from anyone who can loan items for the exhibition, which is to be held in the Mere Brow Centre.

They are keen for items including old photographs and newspaper clippings relating to Catcliffe.
