Rotherham man charged with sex offences against seven victims

A Rotherham man has appeared in court accused of sex offences against seven victims, some of them children.

Dominic Rhodes, of Sheep Cote Road, Brecks, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court, charged with two counts of attempting to cause a female aged 13 or over to engage in sexual activity and one count of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress.

The 24-year-old is also charged with five counts of causing a female aged 13 or over to engage in sexual activity and five counts of taking indecent photographs of a child.

The offences are reported to have occurred via social media platforms between March 2016 and April 2017 and relate to seven victims who were between 13 and 20 at the time.

Rhodes was granted conditionally bail to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday, November 26.
