A South Yorkshire leisure centre has been award a top accreditation for its swimming lessons.
Aston Leisure Centre, in Aston, has been given the Amateur Swimming Association’s Swim21 quality mark for its swimming lesson programme.
The mark is awarded to centre that have raised the quality of swimming provision and offer the best possible learning to swim programmes.
The centre is the first in Rotherham to achieve the accreditation.
Jack Garner, the centre’s general manager, said: “We are committed to providing the best possible swimming service and experience for our customers and we’re delighted that this has been recognised.
“We are very pleased that all our hard work has paid off.”
