Rotherham inline hockey player Daniel Hollier selected for GB team in California

Rotherham inline hockey player Daniel Hollier has been selected to play for Great Britain in July in Corona, California in the AAU Junior Olympics.

The 11-year-old from East Herringthorpe, is one of three players from Rotherham’s Blackhawks Juniors, named for the trip along with Under-10s Jake Bedford from Hull and Rhys Edwards from Blackburn .

Daniel, a forward, has been playing the sport for thtree years and has represented Blackhawks in the Bipha Central League at U10s, 12s and14s.

Daniel has also been selected for Bipha Central’s U10s Superleague team when teams from across the country play a tournament in Rotherham at Easter.
