SAY hello to Kaiser – curious, cute and longing to be loved

Kaiser is currently being cared for by the volunteers at Rotherham’s Netherlands Dog Rescue.

And they are hoping you can help him conquer the bulldog blues.

They have made a special appeal for someone who can give this hound the love and care he craves.

A spokesman for the Kilnhurst rescue centre said: “Kaiser is a five-year-old bulldog who needs a little extra care.

“He has a slight skin condition which will require occasional vet visits.

“This is under control at the moment and we feel that, in his forever home, this may settle.

“Please do not let his skin problem leave him in kennels for the rest of his life.

“The charity will fund any medical bills Kaiser has.

“Kaiser would need someone who is prepared to make a commitment to him, fall in love with him and offer him the home he has waited so long to find.

“In return, you would have a loving and loyal dog.

“Kaiser doesn’t like cats, he needs to be the only dog.

“He walks well on the lead, but he doesn’t like rain.”

All the dogs adopted from Netherland Dog Rescue will be de-flead, wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

The rescue is run by volunteers and is funded solely by donations and fund-raising events.

It also relies on income from selling donated items at its two charity shops, located on High St, Mexborough, and Hoyland Road, Hoyland Common.

n To speak to someone about the possibility of adopting Kaiser call in at the kennels on Kilnhurst Road, Kilnhurst, any day between noon and 3pm, or, alternatively, call 07786 292104.
