Rotherham council issues plea to residents over bin collections
Rotherham householders are being urged to leave their bins at the roadside by 7am on collection days.
The borough council says there are no changes to collection days planned but the time that bins are collected may change.
Waste collection manager, Bob Morrison, said: “The council has invested in a number of new waste collection vehicles and these, along with increasing demand from the growing number of households, has meant we need to increase the number of collection rounds.”
