Rotherham-based firm scoops royal award

Rotherham-based manufacturing firm Aesseal are picking up a prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise next week - their 13th since 1988.

Andrew Coombe, lord-lieutenant of South Yorkshire, will present staff with the award at a ceremony at Aesseal’s Global Technology Centre on October 12. Company founder and managing director Chris Rea OBE, pictured, said the company now has the “honour and privilege of being able to fly the flag and use the Queen’s Award emblem in our marketing.”
