Hussain and Bostan are among five men and two women who deny being part of a Rotherham grooming ring that operated in the town for more than 10 years.

The woman said this was one of ‘over 100’ occasions she was made to have sex with Hussain – who she knew by the name ‘Mad Ash’ – over a period of eight or nine years.

She said one night she had found Hussain in the corner of her bedroom at the home after he had climbed a drainpipe to get in.

In a video interview with police that was played to the jury, the complainant said: “I went up to my room and he was already in there stood in the corner.

“He was asking me to come out with him. I was begging and pleading for him to leave my room because I would have got in trouble.

“He said he would only leave if I would go with him.”

She said after leaving she was taken to the house of a man called Ken in Masbrough, where Hussain had sex with her before she was made to perform a sex act on Bostan.

The girl said she had been living in children’s homes from the age of 11 and despite being moved around, Hussain and his associates would find out where she was and come to pick her up ‘on a weekly basis’ after parking close by.

The woman said that she would be taken to ‘three or four’ different properties in Rotherham to have sex, including the houses of Shelley Davies and Karen MacGregor.

The woman said ‘Mad Ash’ had sex with her ‘over 100’ times from the start of her abuse at 11 until her final contact with him at the age of 19 or 20.

She said: “It has gone on from the age of 11 right up to me being 19 to 20. It was near enough three to four times a week, sometimes two to three times a night.”

She said Hussain had introduced her to around ‘10 or 11’ people during that time with whom she had been made to have sex.

The woman had previously given evidence to court that she had a child after being raped at the age of 20 by Hussain and Bostan. She said that when she was younger, she had a termination after being made pregnant by Hussain but couldn’t remember precisely how old she was.

When cross-examined in court by Tahir Khan QC, representing Hussain, the woman was asked why she had waited 15 years before first speaking to police in September 2014. She said the police had approached her.
