A Rotary club president is swapping his chains of office for a bike chain when he cycles more than 100 miles in a day.

Tom Knight will complete the challenge – to ride between Rotary clubs across the region – to collect money in aid of Marie Curie, the official charity of the Tour de France.

The Rotherham Sitwell Rotary president will be followed by a red London bus and motorbikers on Saturday, June 28.

Marie Curie in South Yorkshire praised Tom for taking on the mission and encouraged other people to get in the saddle.
