Two robbers stole a schoolboy's bike as he rode through a Doncaster park.

The 13-year-old victim was riding his orange cycle through Town Fields when he was approached by two men aged about 18.

They then forcibly stole his bike and rode away towards Elmfield Park.

A passer-by is understood to have given chase to the pair towards the Apley Road area.

The teenager was not injured during the incident, which happened on Friday, July 20, at 2.30pm.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Were you in the area on Friday afternoon? Did you witness the robbery?

"Please call 101 quoting incident number 568 of 20 July 2018, or pass information anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111."
