Road repairs and improvements costing almost £400,000 are being carried out across Derbyshire this month.
The money is part of a £35 million package Derbyshire Council will spend on improving the county’s roads over the next year.
Pavements will be resurfaced on Duchess Street, Whitwell and Summerfield Road in Spital.
Road resurfacing work will be carried out on Station Road, Whittington, the A619 Troughbrook Hill, Staveley and Ashgate Road, Chesterfield.
Coun Dean Collins, deputy cabinet member for jobs, economy and transport, said: “We are committed to repairing and improving roads and pavements across the county and know residents put a high priority on their condition.”
