Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer favourites to replace Boris Johnson as PM, say bookies
The Labour leader, who said he would have sacked Cummings had he found himself in the same position as Johnson, claimed the government looked ‘untrustworthy’ and ‘unprincipled’ after defending the PM’s top aide following his lockdown trips.
A Daily Mail poll this week saw Starmer’s popularity soar by 7 points and BoyleSports now have the former human rights lawyer as favourite to become the next Prime Minister. He closed into 6/4 from 2/1 this week to win the next election having been a 4/1 shot when he was confirmed as Jeremy Corbyn’s successor.
