Richard pitches in by biking to every Scottish club

SUPER cyclist Richard Bebb is enjoying a highland fling - as he bikes around every football ground in Scotland.

The 29-year-old, from Hunters Bar, Sheffield, aims to visit 57 different grounds in just four weeks - following up his English odyssey which saw him cycling to all 92 Football League and Premiership stadiums last year.

This time he's taking in the Scottish Premier grounds, those in Divisions 1, 2 and 3, and teams in the Highland League just for good measure.

Cash raised through sponsorship will go to the charities Mencap and Enable, for people with learning disabilities.

"I'm expecting to cover 1,500 miles before the end of August, and though there are fewer grounds than in England, it will be tough because for much of the way it will be far hillier," said Richard, who lives on Ecclesall Road.

"I've been training in the Peak District to get myself in condition. I wanted to help my chosen charities as I work for the recycling organisation Reclaim, which has a great record of employing people with learning disabilities," he added.
