REVIEW: Fun Drum
I got a lovely email this week from Sheffield mum Melody Mills, who is loving taking her 22-month old, Tilly, to Fun Drum classes in the city:
“It’s a session for children aged six months to five years, and their adults, to enjoy music together. It is lively, energetic and educational - totally bonkers actually but we love it!
“Ruth Harneis, who has run Fun Drum for five years, uses props, puppets, song, roleplay and drumming to stimulate the children’s imaginations. Music is something we can engage with on many levels, listening, moving our bodies, making actions, keeping time and rhythms with hands or percussion, singing either your own melodies or joining in with songs that are being sung.”
