With just under five weeks to go until Christmas Day, frantic shoppers will be looking to secure their bargain purchases over Black Friday on 25 November.

Perhaps it’s worth a trip to Scotland to avoid the queues- Glasgow and Edinburgh made it to the top five list for best queuing times for Black Friday.

Onbuy.com's Managing Director, Cas Paton, said: “The British love a good queue, and as a patient nation, most of us can cope with the long waits – especially the ones that end in a good bargain.”

Data was collected by surveying 120 households in each of the respective cities to understand how long they tend to wait in a queue on Black Friday in the past two years.
